My Role as Your Celebrant

• Visit you at your home or another convenient location to get to know you and gather the information needed to develop the order of service and the funeral script.

• ​Guidance on elements of the funeral such as reading, music, visual tribute, involving other people in the service.​

• Writing and delivering a eulogy that captures the essence of your loved one, your thoughts and memories, and creating a story which brings together the many strands of their life.​

• Help in selecting poetry, a reading or a prayer which may be read by myself or another person of your choice.​

• Preparing the script and sending it back to you to check and ensure you are satisfied with everything.​

• Communication with others involved in the funeral.​

• Conducting the funeral service on the day and supporting you so that you can concentrate on being with your family and loved ones.​​

• Providing a copy of the service afterwards as a keepsake. ​​​​
